Filling in Pallet Gaps

I was reading a project on your site done by Cecile named Beautiful Pallet Deck/ Terrasse en Palettes. She mentioned that they filled in the gaps between the boards. I want to know how they did that? Do they have boards that exact size to fill in or did they pull boards and then put new ones down. Some pallets have even spacing, and I want more detail on this step, please.

      Hi Lynette,

      I think you are speaking about this project: Beautiful Pallet Deck / Terrasse En Palettes

      In this particular case, the gaps between the pallet planks were filled with planks from other wood pallets. You have to cut them to the appropriate size of each gap (they can vary between pallets).
